I had such difficult questions from step by step order questions to EKG readings to conference education seminars (yes, really!).The nclex question are simple, vague, with answer choices that purposefully obfuscated to make you critically think to snuff out the safety cloaked within. They're not super deep. Don't go deep when you're studying for nlcex, because then vague questions will feel "off". uworld/klimek/simple nursing on YT hits it just right IMO.
